Qaza Rules for Travel Prayers
If a prayer was missed while you were a Shar‘i Musafir, its Qaza will ALWAYS be 2 Rak‘at, even if you perform the Qaza years later while resident at home. The status at the time the prayer time expired determines the Qaza requirement.
