These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the SALAH Live mobile application and website (collectively, the “Platform” or “Service”) operated by SALAH Live(“we”, “us”, or “our”). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you disagree with any part of these Terms, you may not access or use the Service.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using the SALAH Live App or visiting our Website, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms and our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated herein by reference. If you are using the Service on behalf of an organization or a Masjid, you represent and warrant that you have the authority to bind that organization or Masjid to these Terms.

2. Platform Role & Services Offered

SALAH Live is a technology platform. The Platform acts as an informational hub to facilitate the publication and discovery of community information related to local Masjids. The Service helps Users discover:

• Daily Prayer Timings based on geographic calculations or manual Masjid submissions.
• Live Jamaat timings from registered Masjids.
• Azan schedules and prayer reminders.
• Nearby Masjid discovery with coordinates, travel times, and directions.
• Ramadan Sehri and Iftar timetables.
• Friday Jummah prayer schedules.
• Qibla direction via digital compass and device utilities.
• Interactive Tasbih (digital bead counter).
• Masjid announcements, events, and community alerts.
• Administration tools for Masjid committees and authorized administrators.

You acknowledge and agree that SALAH Live is NOT the authority determining, setting, or certifying Prayer Timings or religious schedules. The information displayed on the Platform is aggregated for informational purposes only. We reserve the right to add, modify, or discontinue any aspect of the Platform or Service at any time, with or without notice.

3. User Responsibilities

By using the Service, you agree to:

• Use the Service and Platform only for lawful purposes and in compliance with all applicable local, national, and international laws.
• Not reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or attempt to extract the source code of the Platform.
• Not attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service, associated accounts, or its servers.
• Not use automated tools (such as bots, scrapers, spiders, or crawlers) to extract data from the Platform without our prior written permission.
• Not impersonate any person or organization, or misrepresent your affiliation with any Masjid or entity.
• Not transmit or post any content that is unlawful, defamatory, abusive, threatening, harassing, or otherwise objectionable.
• Provide accurate, complete, and truthful information when registering a Masjid, creating a User account, or requesting content modifications.
• Maintain the absolute confidentiality of your administrator credentials and notify us immediately of any unauthorized use or security breach.

4. Community-Contributed Information

Much of the data and Masjid information displayed on the Platform (including names, addresses, contact details, announcements, photos, and schedules) is managed and updated by Masjid administrators, authorized Users, and community contributors, or gathered from publicly available sources and third-party databases.

Because SALAH Live is a technology platform rather than a content publisher, we do not independently verify every item of information or subsequent update before it is published. Consequently:

• Information displayed on the Platform may occasionally be incomplete, outdated, or inaccurate.
• This includes, but is not limited to, Prayer Timings, Jamaat timings, announcements, addresses, phone numbers, events, links, images, and other Masjid profiles.
• SALAH Live does not endorse or assume responsibility for any content contributed by Masjid administrators or community members.

5. Prayer Timings & Masjid Information Disclaimer

The Platform provides calculations, schedules, and general Masjid information as a convenience and informational service only. While we make reasonable efforts to maintain the quality of the Platform:

• SALAH Live does not guarantee that any information displayed is complete, accurate, current, continuously updated, or error-free.
• Prayer Timings (both calculated and administrator-submitted) and Jamaat timings may change frequently due to:
  • Seasonal astronomical adjustments,
  • Custom schedules for Ramadan, Eid, or special Islamic events,
  • Local Masjid committee decisions or administrative updates,
  • Regional religious rulings or local moon-sighting calculations,
  • Atmospheric conditions, geographic coordinates, or calculation methods (e.g., Hanafi vs. Shafi settings),
  • Technical delays, synchronization latency, or human errors.
• There may be delays or latency before changes decided by a Masjid are updated and reflected on the Platform.

6. Ramadan & Special Event Timings

Sehri (Suhoor) end times and Iftar times during Ramadan, as well as Eid prayer schedules, are provided as caution-based estimates or based on regional schedules. Users must note:

• Sehri end times displayed should be treated as cautious estimates. We recommend stopping eating and drinking several minutes before the displayed time to avoid invalidating fasts.
• Iftar times are calculated based on sunset and may vary from the actual sighting or local announcements.
• Regional Ramadan and Eid start and end dates are subject to local moon-sighting decisions and Islamic authority guidelines.

7. User Responsibility for Verification

You acknowledge and agree that you are solely responsible for independently verifying any information displayed on the Platform that is important to you, including but not limited to daily prayers, Jumu’ah, Ramadan fasts, Eid, special religious events, travel planning, or personal scheduling.

If exact Prayer Timings or Jamaat timings are required for your religious observance or personal arrangements, you must verify the information directly with the local Masjid (e.g., via their official bulletin board, direct contact, or physical presence) before relying on the timings displayed on the Platform.

8. Report Incorrect Information

To help us maintain the quality and accuracy of the Platform, we strongly encourage the community to participate in improving our data. If you notice any inaccuracies or outdated details, including:

• Incorrect Prayer Timings or wrong Jamaat timings,
• Wrong address or map coordinates,
• Incorrect contact numbers,
• Closed, duplicate, or relocated Masjids,
• Outdated or incorrect announcements,

please use the reporting tools available on the Platform or submit a report through our contact form. We appreciate community cooperation in resolving errors promptly.

9. No Guarantee & Right to Update

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law:

• The Platform and Service are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis.
• We make no guarantees of continuous availability, uninterrupted access, continuous accuracy, continuous synchronization, or real-time updates.
• All calculations, timings, announcements, and other content displayed on the Platform may change at any time without prior notice.

10. User Generated Content

Masjid administrators and authorized Users may submit content to the Platform, including schedules, announcements, and Masjid information. By submitting content, you:

• Represent and warrant that you are authorized to submit the content on behalf of the Masjid or organization.
• Grant SALAH Live a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free, perpetual, and transferable license to host, display, distribute, modify, and process the content within the Platform.
• Confirm that the content is accurate, lawful, and does not infringe the intellectual property or other rights of any third party.

We reserve the right to edit, restrict, or remove any content at any time that violates these Terms, our community standards, or applicable law.

11. Intellectual Property

All content, design, user interfaces, graphics, logos, and software comprising the Platform are the intellectual property of SALAH Live or its licensors and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, modify, create derivative works from, or commercially exploit any part of the Platform without our prior written consent.

The SALAH Live name, logo, and all associated trademarks are the property of SALAH Live. Use of these marks without our express written permission is prohibited.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, SALAH Live, its owners, operators, developers, contributors, partners, affiliates, volunteers, service providers, and agents shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, opportunities, reputation, or other intangible losses, arising from or relating to:

• Incorrect or inaccurate Prayer Timings or Jamaat timings displayed on the Platform,
• Delayed updates, missing updates, or outdated information,
• Incorrect announcements, events, or community information,
• Incorrect addresses, contact information, or location coordinates,
• Any service interruptions, server downtimes, or technical failures,
• User reliance upon any information displayed on the Platform,
• Third-party service failures (including maps, notifications, or hosting providers),
• Any unauthorized access to or use of our servers or admin accounts.

The Platform is used at your own discretion and risk. Except where such limitation is prohibited under applicable law, our aggregate liability for all claims arising out of or related to these Terms or the Platform shall not exceed the amount paid by you (if any) to access the Platform during the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.

13. Account Suspension

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account or access to the Service at any time, with or without notice, for:

• Violation of these Terms or our Platform policies.
• Submission of false, misleading, or malicious content.
• Activity that endangers the Platform, other Users, or third parties.
• Non-payment of applicable fees (for administrator subscriptions).
• Extended periods of inactivity.

14. Advertisement Policy

SALAH Live may display advertisements from local businesses and third-party networks. Advertisements:

• Are reviewed to ensure they are appropriate for a community audience and do not promote prohibited content (interest-based finance, alcohol, gambling, etc.).
• May be targeted based on geographic location (city/state) but are never targeted based on individually identifiable data.
• From third-party networks are governed by the respective network’s policies.

SALAH Live does not endorse any advertised product or service. All transactions between you and advertisers are solely between you and the advertiser.

15. External Links

The Service may contain links to external websites or resources not operated by SALAH Live. These links are provided for convenience only. We have no control over, and accept no responsibility for, the content, privacy practices, or availability of external sites. Inclusion of any link does not imply endorsement by SALAH Live.

16. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of India, except where such restriction is prohibited by applicable local consumer protection laws of the User’s jurisdiction. Users accessing the Platform from other jurisdictions are responsible for compliance with local laws.

17. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting to the Platform, with the “Effective Date” updated accordingly. Continued use of the Platform after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.

For material changes, we will make reasonable efforts to notify Users through the Platform or by email (where provided). We encourage you to review these Terms periodically.
