Surah Al-Kafirun

سورة الكافرون

Surah #1096 VersesMeccanJuz 30
Translation:

بِسۡمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحۡمَٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ

Ayah 1Juz 3

قُلۡ يَـٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلۡكَٰفِرُونَ ﴿١

Say, "O disbelievers

Ayah 2Juz 3

لَآ أَعۡبُدُ مَا تَعۡبُدُونَ ﴿٢

I do not worship what you worship

Ayah 3Juz 3

وَلَآ أَنتُمۡ عَٰبِدُونَ مَآ أَعۡبُدُ ﴿٣

Nor are you worshippers of what I worship

Ayah 4Juz 3

وَلَآ أَنَا۠ عَابِدٞ مَّا عَبَدتُّمۡ ﴿٤

Nor will I be a worshipper of what you worship

Ayah 5Juz 3

وَلَآ أَنتُمۡ عَٰبِدُونَ مَآ أَعۡبُدُ ﴿٥

Nor will you be worshippers of what I worship

Ayah 6Juz 3

لَكُمۡ دِينُكُمۡ وَلِيَ دِينِ ﴿٦

For you is your religion, and for me is my religion

About Surah Al-Kafirun

Surah Al-Kafirun was revealed when leaders of Quraysh offered a compromise to worship Allah for one year and their idols the next. This Surah established absolute clarity, rejecting religious compromise and concluding with the famous statement of religious distinction.
