The month of the birth of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH).
Rabi' al-Awwal is celebrated across the Muslim world as it marks the birth of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) (Mawlid), who was sent as a mercy to all creation.
伊斯兰历月份
回历由基于新月观测周期的 12 个连续月份组成：

One of the four sacred months and the first month of the Islamic year.

回历是一个纯阴历，一年由 12 个月组成，共 354 或 355 天。由于太阴年比太阳公历缩短约 10 至 11 天，因此回历日期在季节中向后循环。年份被指定为回历（AH），以纪念公元 622 年先知穆罕默德（愿主福安之）从麦加迁移到麦地那的历史性事件。
