📖 Mengenai Bulan Safar
The second month of the Islamic calendar.
Safar literally means void or empty. Historically, it referred to the time of year when houses were empty as people went out to travel, forage, or engage in trade.
Bulan Kalendar Hijriah
Kalendar Hijriah terdiri daripada 12 bulan berturut-turut berdasarkan kitaran penampakan anak bulan:
1. Muharram
Arti: Terlarang/Suci
One of the four sacred months and the first month of the Islamic year.
2. Safar Aktif
Arti: Kosong
The second month of the Islamic calendar.
3. Rabiulawal
Arti: Musim Bunga Pertama
The month of the birth of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH).
4. Rabiulakhir
Arti: Musim Bunga Kedua
The fourth month of the Islamic calendar.
5. Jamadilawal
Arti: Tanah Kering Pertama
The fifth month of the Islamic calendar.
6. Jamadilakhir
Arti: Tanah Kering Terakhir
The sixth month of the Islamic calendar.
7. Rejab
Arti: Kehormatan/Rasa Hormat
One of the four sacred months, hosting the night of Isra' and Mi'raj.
8. Syaaban
Arti: Berselerak/Terpancar

Cara Kerja Kalendar Hijriah (Islam)
Kalendar Islam (Hijriah) ialah kalendar lunar murni yang terdiri daripada 12 bulan dalam setahun yang mempunyai 354 or 355 hari. Oleh kerana tahun lunar adalah kira-kira 10 hingga 11 hari lebih pendek daripada tahun solar Gregorian, tarikh Islam berputar ke belakang mengikut musim. Tahun ditandakan dengan H (Hijriah), menandakan penghijrahan bersejarah Nabi Muhammad (SAW) dari Makkah ke Madinah pada tahun 622 M.
