Arriving in Srinagar in the 14th century accompanied by hundreds of learned companions and artisans, Shah-e-Hamadan did not merely preach sermonizing words; he taught ethics, Islamic jurisprudence, and introduced famous handicrafts including Pashmina shawl weaving, wood carving, and calligraphy. His historic center, Khanqah-e-Moula in Srinagar, remains a spiritual beacon.
According to Tazkirat-ul-Auliya references from Maktaba-tul-Madinah (Dawat-e-Islami), Shah-e-Hamadan's methodology demonstrated that spreading Islam involves uplifting people both spiritually and economically through honest livelihood and education.
