Surah Al-Falaq

سورة الفلق

Surah #1135 VersesMeccanJuz 30
Translation:

بِسۡمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحۡمَٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ

Ayah 1Juz 3

قُلۡ أَعُوذُ بِرَبِّ ٱلۡفَلَقِ ﴿١

Say, "I seek refuge in the Lord of daybreak

Ayah 2Juz 3

مِن شَرِّ مَا خَلَقَ ﴿٢

From the evil of that which He created

Ayah 3Juz 3

وَمِن شَرِّ غَاسِقٍ إِذَا وَقَبَ ﴿٣

And from the evil of darkness when it settles

Ayah 4Juz 3

وَمِن شَرِّ ٱلنَّفَّـٰثَٰتِ فِي ٱلۡعُقَدِ ﴿٤

And from the evil of the blowers in knots

Ayah 5Juz 3

وَمِن شَرِّ حَاسِدٍ إِذَا حَسَدَ ﴿٥

And from the evil of an envier when he envies

About Surah Al-Falaq

Surah Al-Falaq is the 113th chapter and the first of the two Mu'awwidhatayn (seeking refuge). It teaches believers to seek protection with the Lord of the Daybreak from created evils, night darkness, occult practices, and the envier when he envies.
