To implement this Sunnah in your daily visits to the Masjid:

Arrive 10 Minutes Early: You cannot secure a place in the first row if you arrive after the Iqamah. Make it a habit to reach the Masjid before the Iqamah is called.
Fill the Gaps: If you see a gap in the row in front of you during prayer, step forward to fill it. The Prophet said: "Whoever fills a gap in a row, Allah will raise him by a degree and build a house for him in Paradise." (Sunan Ibn Majah).
Respect the Imam's Deputies: The area directly behind the Imam should ideally be occupied by mature, knowledgeable people who can correct the Imam if he makes a mistake in recitation or take over the prayer if he has to leave.
