The month of the birth of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH).
Rabi' al-Awwal is celebrated across the Muslim world as it marks the birth of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) (Mawlid), who was sent as a mercy to all creation.
इस्लामी वर्ष के महीने
हिजरी कैलेंडर चंद्र दर्शन चक्रों के आधार पर 12 अनुक्रमिक महीनों से बना है:
1. মহররম
অর্থ: নিষিদ্ধ/পবিত্র
One of the four sacred months and the first month of the Islamic year.
2. সফর
অর্থ: শূন্য/খালি
The second month of the Islamic calendar.
3. রবিউল আউয়াল চলতি
অর্থ: প্রথম বসন্ত
The month of the birth of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH).
4. রবিউস সানি
অর্থ: capsule
The fourth month of the Islamic calendar.
5. জমাদিউল আউয়াল
অর্থ: প্রথম শুষ্ক ভূমি
The fifth month of the Islamic calendar.
6. জমাদিউস সানি
অর্থ: শেষ শুষ্ক ভূমি
The sixth month of the Islamic calendar.
7. রজব
অর্থ: সম্মান/শ্রদ্ধা
One of the four sacred months, hosting the night of Isra' and Mi'raj.
8. শাবান
অর্থ: বিক্ষিপ্ত/ছড়িয়ে পড়ا
A month of spiritual preparation for Ramadan, containing Laylat al-Bara'at.
9. রমজান
অর্থ: তীব্র গরম/দাহক
The holiest month of fasting, prayer, and the revelation of the Qur'an.
10. শাওয়াল
অর্থ: উত্থিত/বহনকৃত
Starts with the festival of Eid al-Fitr.
11. জিলকদ
অর্থ: যুদ্ধবিরতির মাস
One of the four sacred months where warfare was strictly forbidden.
12. জিলহজ
অর্থ: হজের মাস
Hosts the Hajj pilgrimage, the Day of Arafah, and Eid al-Adha.
